SPMR College of Commerce organises Webinar on “How to Crack Interview & Personality Dev”

Jammu:: MANODARPAN: Psychology Cum Career Counselling Cell of Government SPMR College of Commerce Jammu in Collaboration with PIBM, Pune organised a webinar on “How to Crack Interview and Personality Development”.
The programme was held under the guidance of Prof. Ranjeet Singh Jamwal, Principal of the college. The webinar opened with a welcome address by the convenor Prof Archana Kaul. HOD Business Communication & Soft Skills PIBM, Pune Fatima Abbas, was the resource person for the webinar. She gave a detailed account of the process and procedure of conducting the interview. She gave many important tips to the students for cracking interviews.
She discussed the importance of clarity in speech and diction and encouraged students to feel comfortable and relaxed while facing the interview. She gave some exercises for the same and stressed upon the importance of a positive attitude while facing the interview. She provided insights into skills required for a successful interview. The resource person showed the students various techniques for leaving a good presentation of oneself before the interview Committee. She talked at length about how the students can improve their personality by grooming themselves.
The students were asked to learn the best way of grooming. She stressed that it is important to groom one’s personality which reflects the best about you. “We must focus on developing ourselves as a complete package” she added.
The students enthusiastically participated in the webinar with an interactive query solving session with Prof. Ashu Manhas.
All the queries of the participants were addressed by the speaker in an interesting feel free way. The proceedings of the webinar were smoothly coordinated by Prof Reeta Menia, Prof Jagmeet Kaur, Prof Rajni Bala and Prof. Sakshi Sharma. The programme was attended by the students from different streams, committee members and teachers making it a successful event. The webinar ended with the formal vote of thanks by Prof Shreya Sharma. E-certificates were given to all the participants.
