Srinagar/Oct, 12: Two unidentified militants were on Tuesday killed in a gunfight at Feeripora area in South Kashmir’s Shopian district .
Official sources said that two militants were killed in the gunfight but identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained. A joint team of Police and army had on Monday evening launched a cordon and search operation in Feeripora area of Shopian district  and reports had said that soon after approaching towards the suspected spot the joint team was fired upon by the hiding militants and exchange of fire triggered an encounter.
