DC Kupwara reviews pace of progress under distt CAPEX budget

Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Saturday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the pace of progress under District CAPEX Budget 2021-22, here. The DC directed the concerned officers to speed up the process of execution of all on-going works and also ensure speedy disposal of finalization of tendering process and allotment.
The DC, while reviewing the sector wise progress, was informed that 2147 different developmental works have been approved for execution during the current financial year. Out of these works, 1544 works have been accorded administrative approval while 728 works have been tendered. Likewise, 513 works have been allotted for the execution.
The officers of R&B, Jal Shakti, Power, Education and Health briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the progress achieved at different levels under the CAPEX Budget.
The Deputy Commissioner, in his address, directed the concerned engineers and officers to make expendituree on works within the approved allotment so that liabilities could not get created.
