Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara Friday visited Migrant Colony Nutnussa in Kupwara district to take stock of the facilities available to them.
The DC accompanied by concerned officers held interaction with the representatives of the migrant colony and discussed threadbare various issues pertaining to the them. They highlighted various issues confronting them and projected their demands to the DC. The DC heard them patiently and assured that all their genuine demands would be resolved on priority basis.
Regarding augmentation and installation of street lights, the DC directed concerned officer to look into the matter on priority basis and ensure that properly street lights be installed at recommended sites. He also took stock of various development issues of the area and directed concerned officers to speed up the execution of all ongoing works and ensure timely completion.
