Khyber Premier Football League 2021: Ag’s XI defeats Real Kashmir Reserves, J&K Forest XI defeats J&K Bank Academy

Al- Ahlam Fc defeats Madina Sports, Al- Qudus FC & Youngs Boys Balhama

Srinagar: In the ongoing Khyber Premier Football League 2021 two matches of Premier Division were on Thursday played at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar. The Tournament is being telecast live for the first time by Frisk Film Production on ANN News Channel.
First match of Premier Division was played between Real Kashmir Reserves and Ag’s XI, which was won by Ag’s XI by 2:1 goals. The match between star studded teams Ag’s XI and Real Kashmir FC (R) was expected to be a high voltage match and it lived upto the expectations of the spectators. Players from both the teams displayed high quality and high speed football. As the match started, forwards of both the teams started attacking each other’s goalpost to seize an early initiative. Shahnawaz Bashir of Ag’s XI scored Ist goal and team maintained the lead till the Half time. Trailing by a goal, the Real Kashmir (R) players launched counter attacks in the 2nd half and they succeeded to leveled the score in 62nd. The 2nd half was a highly entertaining match as defence lines of both the teams attacked each other’s goal post from both the flanks. In the 77th minute Ag’s XI was awarded a Penalty kick for a gross offence by a defender. Khalid of J&K Ag’s XI made no mistake in converting the penalty kick and took the lead. When the referee blew the final whistle, the score line read 2-0 in favour of Ag’s XI. Samuel of RKFC was declared as player of the match for his performance.
The 2nd match was played between J&K Forest XI and J&K Bank Academy. The young Turks of J&K Bank Academy & J&K forest XI played aggressive Football from start to end. Huzaif of J& K Bank scored two goals in 3rd and 29th minute. J&K Forest XI made some good moves and Javeed Ahmad scored a goal in 41st Minute. The first half ended with 2:1 in favour of of J&K Bank academy. In the 2nd half match saw many ups and downs and both the teams tried to make full use of the opportunities they got to score. Talib of J&K Bank Academy scored third goal for his team in 44th minute. Trailing by two goals J&K Forest XI combined his team and scored Four goals back to back in 61st, 77th , 82nd & 85th minutes of the match. Naseer, Rizwan Zameer & Javed scored four impotant goals for his team. When the Referee blew whistle the score line read 5:3 in favour of J&K Forest XI.
In the ongoing A-Division Annual League football Tournament two matches were played at Gindun Ground Rajbagh Srinagar.Ist match was played between Al- Ahlam Fc and Madina Sports. Al-Ahlam FC won by solitary goal. The 2nd match was played between Al- Qudus FC & Youngs Boys Balhama which was won by Al- Qudus FC by a solitary goal.
