DC Kulgam reviews status of Covid-19 vaccination, testing in the distt

Kulgam: In order to achieve cent percent vaccination target in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Thursday chaired a meeting of Officers to review the ongoing Covid vaccination process in the district.
During the meeting, the DC instructed the officers to scale up the pace of vaccination across the district and vaccinate the left out population of the district.
He complimented health and allied departments involved in carrying out the vaccination process for vaccinating more than 88 percent of population and stressed to work with similar enthusiasm to achieve 100 percent target within stipulated time frame.
The DC also directed for strict enforcement of SOPs to avoid spread of Coronavirus infection in the district.
He also directed the concerned to increase the testing to detect positive cases in the district and to keep check on the spread of COVID-19 infection.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC, CMO, Dy. SP DAR, BMOs, Tehsildars and other concerned officials of the concerned departments.
