DC Ramban inaugurates 6 day skill dev training prog for Supervisors, AWWs, Helpers

Ramban: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Monday inaugurated six day skill development training programme on State ECCE Curriculum which simultaneously commenced at three locations including at JKTDC Cafeteria Ramban, Dak Bunglow Ramban, and Malik Resorts Hotel Nashri.
Workshop was also attended by CDPO Ramban, Ravinder Kour; Project Manager , CII Foundation Tariq Ahmad; Project Manager, JKASW, Sajad Ahmed Mandloo and Trainers from Technical Partners Mobile Creches, Delhi.
The programme has been organized by the CII Foundation in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Association of Social Workers JKASW and Mobile Creches for ICDS field functionaries on Early Child Development and State ECCE curriculum in which 5 Supervisors, 50 Anganwari Workers and 50 Aganwari Helpers are being imparted training.
On the occasion, besides appreciating the role of AWWs and Supervisors during COVID times, the DC said that it is an appreciable step for the overall growth of the frontline Anganwari workers and other associated staff.
The DC was apprised by the Project Manager, CII Foundation that the programme has been organized to develop technical capacity of Anganwadi Workers, Helpers and Supervisors and selected CDPO under Anganwadi Adoption Program since 2019.
The program has been funded under the banner of Anganwari Adoption Program of CII Foundation in collaboration with ICDS J&K with JKASW and Mobile Creches Delhi as facilitating partner and technical partner respectively.
The CDPO informed that infrastructural support is also being provided under the same head which includes Colouring, Art work, furnishing, Water Purifiers and Utensils at these selected 50 AW Centres.
