Shopian: The District Magistrate (DM) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya Friday directed the concerned officers to intensify efforts for ensuring cent percent vaccination of target 18 to 44 Years Age Group in a time bound manner.
The DM passed these directions while chairing a meeting of officers of revenue, health and other departments at Mini Secretariat, Arhama, here.
During the proceedings, Vaishya reviewed the progress of vaccination besides the steps being taken to accelerate the same in the district. The meeting was informed that all the health functionaries and other concerned are on job to vaccinate the rest within the shortest possible time.
He asked the officers to work harder and fine tune the strategies at vaccination -level for better results. He also exhorted for strong coordination among Tehsildars, BMOs and BDOs and health department to plan things and frame lists for vaccinating the remaining target soon.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer, Shopian, SDM, Zainapora, Tehsildars, Dy. CMO, BDOs and other concerned officers.
