Public Darbar held at Achgoza, Pulwama

Pulwama: To get first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Chowdhary along with district officers Wednesday conducted a public darbar at Achgoza, Pulwama.
During the durbar, various public deputations including residents of the Achgoza and adjoining villages and many respected locals called upon the DDC and raised their demands.
The issues raised by the deputations and individuals include uninterrupted supply of electricity, water reservoir, macadamization of roads, Road connectivity, development of lanes, protection bund, Extra ration depots, setting up of dairy farms, ICDS centres, Solar Lights, street lights, better health and education facilities, Up gradation of UPS, Fencing of School Grounds, improvement in HT, LT power transmission lines.
The DDC after listening to various public demands directed concerned officers to ensure prompt and speedy redressal of the issues raised during the darbar. He assured that all issues within his competence will be redressed as early as possible whereas the other all genuine demands will be taken up at appropriate forums for their resolution.
Among others, the public darbar was also attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Dr Sheikh Ab Aziz, DDC Members, BDC Members, PRIs, officers of R&B , PHE, Health, PDD, block level officers and other concerned.
