CAB Violations, health safety & increasing joblessness

Though intensity of covid-19 pandemic is fast reducing across Jammu & Kashmir but most of the business houses including media outlets and private schools are disengaging more and more employees month after month due to increasing economic stress triggered by back to back two covid lockdowns in last two years and unprecedented hike in the prices of essential commodities coupled with latest hike power tariff rates. Though government like private business houses also suffered heavy losses in service sectors in last two years of pandemic stress but better price control measures and deferment of decision on hike in power tariff rates till the restoration of pre-Covid economic normalities would have surely reduced the intensity of economic stress both on the people and as well as private business houses in Jammu & Kashmir. In view of unprecedented rise in prices of essential commodities and power tariff rates the economic plight of the people obviously heads to no dead end in Jammu & Kashmir. Since unlocking business activities has suffered a major setback in view of the increasing intensity in the covid-19 spread across Jammu & Kashmir the economic situation developing after re-imposition of covid restrictions in some parts of both Kashmir and Jammu divisions is not as much satisfying as it was just two months ago.

Violation of covid appropriate behaviour (CAB) would by all standards of standards of understandabilities put to risk the lives of thousands of people besides the full restoration of business operations to pre-covid normalities for the purposes of the restoration of livelihood opportunities for people in the private sector. So response to covid appropriate behaviour is a key to restoration of business operations for the purposes of restoration of livelihood opportunities in private sector across Jammu & Kashmir.

In the prevailing situation the people have to follow the Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) for the purposes of their health safety and as wells as restoration of normal business operations across Jammu & Kashmir particularly the twin capital cities- Srinagar and Jammu which for all practical purposes are epicenters of trade and business operations in Jammu & Kashmir. Never forget that following covid appropriate behaviour (CAB) is by no means less important for ruralities as the intensity of covid spread had shown unprecedented rise in the villages of Baramulla and Budgam districts also . For the purposes of both health safety and as well as restoration of business operations the strict adherence to covid appropriate behaviour (CAB) as such is to be forcefully followed by people in both urban and rural areas of Jammu & Kashmir .
