Ayushman Bharat Divas celebrated in distt Samba

DC felicitates Health care workers, PM-JAY (SEHAT) team

Samba: District Administration Samba Thursday organised an impressive felicitation function in collaboration with Department of Medical health here at conclave hall, DC Office to commemorate the completion of 3 years of World’s largest health insurance scheme-Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (PM-JAY).
Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta- the Chief Guest presented certificates of appreciation to the health care workers of government as well as private health care institutions for their exemplary field work for registration of beneficiaries for the universal health care facility.
Additional District Development Commissioner Tilak Raj Sharma; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Development , Siddarth Diman; SDM Vijaypur, Vinay Kumar; SDM Ghagwal, Ramkesh Sharma; District Health Officer, Dr. Anuja Amla; Block Medical Officer Nud Dr. Anju Bala; Block Medical Officer Ramgarh Dr. Lakhwinder Singh; Block Medical Officer, Purmandal Dr Shamim Ahmed; District Manager CSC, Shruti, District Coordinator CSC, Raman; Representatives of private empanelled hospitals and Arogya Mitras of different empanelled hospitals were present.
The function was organized by District Health Society, Samba under the supervision of Chief medical Officer, Dr. Sanjay Turki.
Dr. Anuja Amla presented the welcome address while Chief Medical Officer, Samba presented the overview of the ABPMJAY Sehat scheme and threw light on various achievements under ABPMJAY Sehat Scheme in the District. He explained about the special drive under Gaon Gaon Ayushman which witnessed door to door mobilization by ASHAs and AWWs to maximize the registration under BIS and inclusion of missing families in the SECC 2011 data so as to provide them benefit under ABPMJAY Sehat Scheme. District Manager & District Coordinator CSC presented the registration status under BIS.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the health department and other departments who are working in coordination for implementation of ABPMJAY Sehat Scheme. She specially praised the field staff for their hard work amid the testing times of covid pandemic and for enabling the District Samba in attaining top position in J&K for implementation of ABPMJAY Sehat Scheme. She further advised the officers and staff present to carry on with same zeal till 100% targets are achieved. On this occasion, various officers/officials were felicitated with certificates of appreciation for their outstanding performance in the implementation of ABPMJAY SEHAT programme. The function ended with a vote of thanks by Dy. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Sharma
DC Rajouri visits forward Border posts in Nowshera sector, interacts with army personnel, locals
Rajouri:: Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan Thursday visited forward posts in Khamba area of the strategic Nowshera sector of district Rajouri.
He interacted with the personnel of the 2nd Madras Regiment and hailed the Army for maintaining the territorial integrity of the nation and promoting peace and harmony through different Sadbhavna Activities. The DC Rajouri evinced keen interest to stay with the unit for the next time as the act shall symbolise the cordial Quami Bhavana sentiments.
“Every Indian has extreme regard and respect for the commitment and valour that every Jawan and Officer of the Great Indian Army shares”, the DC said.
The DC Rajouri assured that the government is very serious about the safety, protection and care of all border natives and has introduced many programmes and policies for their social and economic well being.
Interacting with the border natives, the DC Rajouri announced to organise two day border mela for boosting the morale of brave Indian citizens and who are the first line victims of all atrocities of war, cross border firing and insurgency.
Further, he also inspected the site of a dispute which is being investigated by the CBI regarding rentals of village Khamba and assured of early redress of the issue.
Pertinent to mention, village Khamba is partially within Indian territory and partially under the possession of Pakistan and in no past, nobody from civil administration ever visited and interacted with the natives of such a volatile area.
Deputy Commissioner also paid a visit to the revered shrine PeershahLak located on the zero line and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by DDC member Darhal, Iqbal Malik; ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Samyal; Tehsildar HQ, Babu Ram; Tehsildar Nowshera, Raju Samyal and other officers.
