Sports minister Nisith Pramanik interacts with Pencak Silat medalists, felicitates them

Srinagar:- Minister of state for sports and Youth affairs and Home Government of India Nisith Pramanik Wednesday Falicitate Pencak Silat medalist during the ongoing 3 days 6Th State Level Pencak Silat Championship 2021 which is held at Polo ground Indoor stadium Srinagar from 21-23 September 2021.

Minister said that such events not promote sports but a sportsman spirit and brotherhood among the athletes coming from different districts and states . The minister also witness a demonstration of Pencak Silat displayed by some National and International athletes and the Hon’ble Minister also distributed medals among the medal winners during this championship and also interacts with all the participants coming from all over the 16 districts across Union territory of J&K including Central team of Jammu and Kashmir police .

“I congratulate the organisers for holding of such and convey his best luck to all the athletes and officials”, said Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to Youth services and sports Govt of J&K , DG- Youth Services and Sports , Special Secretary, Youth services and sports and the officer bearers and officials of the Pencak Silat Association of J&K was present on the said ceremony.
