CEO Kathua inspects covid testing camps, examination centres in schools

Kathua:Chief Education Officer Kathua, Parkash Lal Thapa along with DEPO Zara Singh, Tuesday inspected Covid testing camps and examination centres in Government HSS Nagri Parole, Government Girls HS Nagri Parole, HSS Jakhbar, and MS-A Kathua PWD Colony.
During the visit to HSS Nagri Parole, the Chief Education Officer participated in a plantation drive, while he inspected covid testing camp in HSS Jakhbar.
The team also inspected examination centers in these designated schools. The officer also checked the attendance of the staff, store stock, library, ICT Labs, Solar Panel, Mid Day Meal details, Samagra Shiksha grants utilization, face-lifting of schools, verification of daily online classes, audit para details and found everything satisfactory.
The CEO asked the Heads of institutions to establish book banks to help needy students, follow COVID-19 SOP guidelines and conduct plantation drives in schools to save the environment and to focus on strengthening the education system for the benefit of students.
