Kishtwar:: Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sham Lal Friday chaired a meeting to take stock of the status of the restoration works and rehabilitation activities taken under State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) in the cloudburst and flash flood hit areas of the district.
The meeting was attended by the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO)Kishtwar Sagar Singh; DFO Marwah Vijay Singh; Xen PMGSY Mohinder Singh; representatives of PHE, PDD, PWD besides other concerned officers and officials.
At the outset, the ADDC inquired from all concerned departments the progress of the restoration of the infrastructure damaged by cloudburst and flash flood on the intervening night of 27th and 28th July 2021.
The ADDC also reviewed the rehabilitation of affected people in Paddar, Dachhan and Bounjwah areas of the district.
Feedback was received and a slew of directions were issued to the concerned departments to plug in the gaps.
All the departments were asked to work in a collective and responsible manner to provide relief to affected people.
The meeting constituted Sub-Division and Tehsil-wise committees for physical verification and inspection of work restored by concerned departments. The departments were asked to provide work-wise detail of on-going restoration works to the concerned committee for the verification, while the committees were asked to furnish their reports within ten days.
Besides the detailed discussion on the SDRF guidelines were also held in the meeting.
