Big blow to drug peddling in Rajouri

Though Jammu & Kashmir police has been talking much about war against rising menace of drug peddling in Jammu & Kashmir but the recovery of a huge cash of over Rs1.64 crores by police in Rajouri shows that black money is being channelised very hugely by drug peddlers for unlawful means in Jammu & Kashmir. Given the fact that two bags from which the huge cash of over Rs 1.64 crores was recovered during searches in a village in Rajouri belong to a person who himself in evading arrest and also happens to be a relative arrested recently by Punjab Police in a joint operation with J&K Police in Punjab, the interstate links in dug peddling cannot be ruled out. The recovery of huge cash in Rajouri as such necessitates a thorough probe into both the interstate and intrastate links in the rising menace of drug peddling in Jammu & Kashmir for the purposes of blocking the sources of fund raising for the nonstop process of drug peddling. Moreover the recovery of huge cash in Rajouri is an opener for the district police chiefs of other districts as roots of channelising money for drug peddling could be traced in other districts as well. Had police focused it’s investigation against drug peddling on fund raising for drug peddling by drug peddlers in all the police districts, the menace of drug peddling won’t have spread with the intensity it has spread in recent years and is still spreading hugely across Jammu & Kashmir.

Blocking the sources drug peddlers use to channelise money for spreading the menace of drug peddling would ultimately break the increasing chain of drug peddling in Jammu & Kashmir and this obviously is the only way to block the fund raising for drug peddling across Jammu & Kashmir. A big blow to drug peddling in Rajouri district could be a source of inspiration for police in other districts of Jammu & Kashmir.

Actions of district police Rajouri obviously show that police in Rajouri is digging out the very roots of drug peddling in the district. Since cash flow obviously boosts the menace of drug peddling in Jammu & Kashmir the way it does so in several other parts of the country, the police in other districts also will have to try to dig out the very roots of drug peddling for the purposing of blocking the sources drug peddlers use for channelising money to further the causes of the spread of drug peddling in Jammu & Kashmir. Blocking the sources drug peddlers use to channelise money for spreading the menace of drug peddling would ultimately break the increasing chain of drug peddling in Jammu & Kashmir and this obviously is the only way to block the fund raising for drug peddling across Jammu & Kashmir. A big blow to drug peddling in Rajouri district could be a source of inspiration for police in other districts of Jammu & Kashmir .
