Reasi: District Youth Services and Sports Department Tuesday inaugurated 4-day YSS Cup tournament here at Mini -Stadium Pouni.
The Tournament has been organised on the Directions of Gazanfer Ali Director Youth Service and Sports and under the supervision of Subash Chander, District Youth Service and Sports Officer Reasi.
DDC Chairman Saraf Singh Nag- the chief guest on the occasion inaugurated the tournament along with DDC Pouni Rita Sharma, BDC Pouni Pawan Kumar and District Youth Service and Sports Officer Subash Chander.
The opening match was played between Panchayat Pouni and Panchyat Talwara. Panchyat Pouni won the match by 7runs.
The Match started after Rapid covid test of the players by BMO Pouni as per the Directions of Charandeep Singh District Development Commissioner Reasi.
Saraf Singh Nag said that such tournaments are being organised to encourage youth to participate in physical activities. He further said that taking part in Sports plays a significant role in physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
