Srinagar, Sep 6: Train service remained suspended on Monday for the fifth consecutive day in Kashmir valley as a precautionary measure.
Official sources said that train will not chug on Monday on Srinagar-Budgam – Baramulla track for the fifth consecutive day .Similarly, train service will remain suspended on Badgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund-Banihal track, they added. Train service was suspended on Thursday following direction from the administration and police as a precautionary measure . It is in place to mention here that majority of people are preferring to travel by train from Srinagar to Banihal and later to Jammu by road.
