Shopian: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Shopian in collaboration with Army Wednesday organised a Sports Festival at Sports Stadium Batapora, here. Four teams from Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag and Kulgam participated in the event and showcased their talent on the occasion.
Teams who took part in the festival, performed with full energy and competitive spirit, besides showed great level of passion and enthusiasm towards the sports.Championships and competitions of Javelin, discuss short put, 100-200 and 400 mtr. Race, Kabaddi and Volleyball were held during the festival. Later, winners were awarded and handed over the cash prizes
