Srinagar: Police on Tuesday said that it has seized five vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals from Nadihal Aragam area of Bandipora.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday police said “officers from Police Station Aragam under the supervision of Dy SP PC Bandipora at a check point established at Nadihal Aragam Bandipora intercepted 5 tractors loaded with illegally extracted sand and Bajri and seized involved in extraction and transportation of minerals illegally were seized”
In the concluding para of its above referred statement police also that case vide FIR No. 34/2021 under relevant sections of law have been registered in Police Station Aragam and investigation have been initiated.
