PLS, J Condoles the death of Writer, Editor Ichhupal Singh

Jammu :Punjabi Lekhak Sabha, Jammu (PLS,J) has condoled the sudden death of S. Ichhupal Singh, former Editor Sheeraza Punjabi & a renowned Punjabi writer of Jammu & Kashmir on 29th August, 2021. He has contributed about forty books to the Punjabi literature in Jammu & Kashmir Dr. Monojit, President, PLS,J giving the details oabout his demise told that he died of low sugar. S. Ichhupal was born on 15th January, 1951 in the family of Sdn. Kushalya Kour and S. Harbans Singh at Rambagh (Mandir), Srinagar. He had qualified, MA in Punjabi and Urdu , and done L Lb. He was appointed as Research Assistant at J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages and later worked as Editor Sheeraza Punjabi there. He had got retired a few years back. He had been awarded with Best Translation Book Award by the Cultural Academy.
S. Baljeet Singh Raina, General Secretary, S. Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik (both former Presidents of PLS, J), Jang S. Verman, Press Secretary, other members of the Sabha, Popinder Singh Paras, Editor, Sheeraza Punjabi, Bhupinder Singh Raina, Dr. Snobar, Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Addl. Secy. JKAACL, Harbhajan Singh, Suraj Singh Suraj, Mangat Singh Jugnu, Ajit Singh Mastana, Joginder Singh Paandhi, Dr. Shaan Kashmiri, Dr. Sukhwinder Singh, Balwinder Singh, Dr. Harbhajan and other writers have conveyed their condolence messages.
