Srinagar: Young Boys Hajin lifts 1st Furqaan memorial trophy when it down Furqaan football club Gundjahangir in penalty shootout played at sports ground Gundjahangir on Thursday.
Both teams exhibited an aggressive approach to the game, but didn’t have anything to show in the goals column for their attacking soccer. Chances were created by the both teams, but lacked the finishing touches and the match was decided in the breakers in which Young Boys Hajin held their nerves by beating FFCG by 5-4. The tournament is organised by Furqaan Football Club Gundjahangir in association with DFA Zone Hajin.
