JDI Jammu releases Catalogue on tourist places of Jammu region

Jammu: Joint Director Information Jammu, Namrita Dogra Wednesday released a catalogue “Enthralling Jammu, A Fresh Perspective’ compiled by Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Tourism Promotion Council for promotion of potential tourist places of Jammu region, here at media Complex.
The catalogue aims to document and promote the geography, geology and anthropology of Jammu region by highlighting its snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, rivers, history, heritage, flora-fauna among numerous other aspects. The council members hoped that J&K would soon evolve into a hub of Peace Tourism’ through concerted and joint efforts of all the stakeholders.
Those present at the release included author VK Sehgal, Photojournalist Afzal Shah, President Bhaderwah Travel Trade Association, BB Kotwal; CEO Eco Adventure, Gurjit Singh; Media correspondent Muzammil Butt and entrepreneur Syed Atif.
