Srinagar: SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem chaired a joint security review meeting with officers of Police & CRPF and discussed different security measures for ensuring peace and stability in the district. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
The meeting was attended by CO 43Bn CRPF, CO 25Bn CRPF, CO 181Bn CRPF, SDPO Char-e-Sharief, SDPO Khansahab, SDPO Magam and DySP Hqrs, besides, other senior officers were also part of the meeting. SSP Budgam appreciated the efforts of Police and CRPF for maintaining stability in the district and emphasised upon them to maintain synergy and better coordination with one another at ground level to maintain the peaceful environment and security in the district. He urged upon the officers to strengthen the general security grid of their respective areas of responsibility for ensuring peace and stability besides taking stringent action against those involved in anti-national activities. He directed the officers to plug the gaps in order to avoid any untoward incidents in the district and take all preventive and precautionary measures with respect to security of vulnerable persons.
