Jammu: One-Week Offline Training of 53 JKAS probationers of 2019 batch started at the IMPARD Campus here Monday. The training has been organised to hone skills of upcoming officers of Jammu & Kashmir.
The training started with an inaugural address by Director Training IMPARD Jammu, Dr Reva Sharma. In her speech, she hailed Director General Saurabh Bhagat for his able leadership and efforts for the development of the Institute.
The first day of the week-long training witnessed physical education training and presentation sessions in which the young officer trainees shared their field experiences from respective departments gained over the past one year.
Various committees, including Sports Committee, Cultural Committee, Press Committee and Picnic Committee were formed on the day for effective management of the training.
A special cultural programme was organized in the evening wherein the Officer trainees Vishal Sadhotra, Nasir Ahmed, Vishal Angurana, Lekha & Group, Jaipal Singh, Sunaina & Group, Pallavi & Group and Jagdeep Singh presented different items.
Other dignitaries present at the Inaugural session included Joint Director, Priyanka Bhat, Course Coordinators Dr. Neena Bhalla and Dr. Ruchi Gupta, Manju Kapoor, Incharge Sports and Dr. Jyoti Sadhu Incharge cultural activities besides other officers of the Institute.
