Srinagar: As a part of celebrations of 75 years of independence, Police organised mega feast (Bada Khana) functions at DPL Budgam, Sub Divisions Khansahib, Chari Sharief & Magam. SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem Khan along with DySP Hqrs Fayaz Hussain & DySP DAR -Ruhail Mircha were present on the occasion. Officers had dinner with soldiers of DPL, Police stations and Armed Police.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Budgam, called upon the police personnel to maintain high standards of decency and discipline during on duty and off duty hours. He further motivated them to render better services to the people and appealed them to show professionalism, transparency and sensitivity in their functioning. Similar other mega feast functions were organised at Sub-Divisions Khan Sahib, Charar-I-Sharief, Magam, PS Chadoora & PS Khansahib. In these mega feast functions, senior Police officers including Addl. SP Budgam Shri Gowhar Ahmad, SDPO Magam Mohammad Saleem, SDPO Cherar-e-sharief Saleem Jehangir and SDPO Khansahib Aftab Awan had dinner with the soldiers of Police and CRPF. The glorious occasion of the celebrations of 75 years of Independence concluded with the vote of thanks by SSP Budgam at DPL Budgam.
