MSK Kishtwar celebrates World Humanitarian Day

Kishtwar: District level Centre For Women, Mahila Shakti Kendra Thursday celebrated World Humanitarian Day here at Hidyal.
On the occasion, the MSK team briefed about the World Humanitarian Day which is observed across the world on August 19. On this day, people who have sacrificed their lives for humanitarian causes and dedicated their lives to humanitarian welfare are honoured. This year’s theme focused on the severe climate crisis that has gripped several countries across the world. It aims to increase pressure on world leaders to take meaningful steps against climate change and save the world’s most vulnerable people.
On the occasion MSK team also educated the participants about the “Mumkin” and “Tejaswini” and other women centric schemes
The programme was attended by Women Welfare Officer MSK Roohie Shamma; District Co-ordinator Hina Jan; Nehru Yuva Kendra Kishtwar Volunteer Veena Kumari; AWWs, AWH’s besides other participants.
