BGSBU employees lend helping hand to Kishtwar Cloudburst victims

Rajouri: Employees of the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University contributed and provided 50 beddings including quilts, bedsheets, pillows and mattresses for the victims of the Cloudburst that hit Kishtwar last month. The relief material was distributed through the District Red Cross society of Kishtwar. Vice Chancellor of the University , Prof. Akbar Masood said that the people of Kishtwar who got effected by the cloudburst are always in our thoughts and prayers. Prof. Akbar said , ” It is the time to reach out. our small efforts can give succour to familes who have seen the worst”. Prof. Akbar appreciated the gesture of the employees and said that being a responsible public Institution , Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has been playing a significant role in nation building and will be at the forefront of welfare activities as and when required.
