“Truly, the one who is successful, purifies his spirit” (Al Quran 91,9)
For the society to flourish & prosper, development by all means has to play a terrific role whether it may be modernization in technology, politics or development in economic and education system. For the successful progress in every single field, personal development is the priority which is possible only when one makes advancement towards spiritual realisation. Fact remains that spiritually mature people are always in complete harmony with God. It is hard to find in spiritually mature people any conflict or disorganization or emotional instability & most importantly such people liberate themselves from such material pangs which ruin the very motive and existence. Obviously one whose heart is cleared of material contamination can easily understand the sole purpose of his life by establishing his contact with divine energy and the ability of differentiating bodily and spiritual activities. That is how one finds the peace of mind and generates more power spiritually. To generate such kind of spiritual cum moral atmosphere and to be economically strong and socially stable, spiritual and transcendental knowledge is sin-qua-non. External knowledge no matter how great in quantity or variety it may be, is almost ineffective in accumulation of spiritual realization. No doubt knowledge is a potential power, but God is the source of all powers and that is why spiritual knowledge is the one through which one can recharge his soul to attain completeness and dynamic energy. But the strange thing is that majority doesn’t value it, in modern world the external knowledge has been given more importance than spiritual leading to an unfortunate metaphysical tragedy. Huge universities have been established for every single department may it be politics, sociology, science etc. but it is very hard is to find any institution where science of soul is taught. We have been relentlessly running after material gain with no thought of the ruins we make inside. No doubt without the presence of soul, body is of no importance, still the soul is neglected and body is been given a vital importance. It doesn’t mean worldly education should be excluded; no way can we do so. We must not differentiate the education and go for one dimensional view only. Education encompasses all & everything and gathers everything below it’s fountains. Our religion teaches us to learn both worldly and spiritual knowledge. We are in a dire need of scientists, astronauts, engineers etc. who are enthusiastic about their convictions and will never loose energy and vitality in doing so. “The more you get engaged in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have”. When a disciple goes to the spiritual planet of God’s kingdom, he engages himself in serving the creation of Lord; he gets the peace of mind with constant energy and becomes free from material pangs.
By engaging yourself in spiritual activities, you will experience an amazing improvement within yourself and you will enjoy a delightful sense of well being. As channeling spiritual power through your thoughts will help you to rise above the obstacles which follow your path and that is the secret by which one can eliminate inferiority complex. So in conjunction with academic and scientific training, spiritual training must be given in schools and colleges. But unfortunately in today’s material world the spiritual education has been wiped out and that is why we are unable to approach the maladies of our emotional life. So values should be taught to the children’s at home by parents and by teachers at school so that we can produce good citizens in upcoming future. In order to triumph both spiritually and economically we have to become stronger in spiritual wealth, obviously Stronger will become the other forms of wealth. Material wealth alone throws one into the quagmire of worldly pleasures. Get out of yourself and through yourself into it, do it with an attitude of faith so that we can receive sufficient strength and ability to face the worldly affairs.
