Baramulla: On the directions of Lieutenant Governor J&K, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Bhupinder Kumar Saturday paid visit to Sopore town and handed over an ex gratia relief of Rs. 25 lac each among the next of kins of those who lost their lives in a militant attack that took place at Sopore on 29-03-2021.
It is worth mentioning here to mention, that two Municipal Counselors lost their lives in a militant attack in Sopore on 29th March this year.
On the occasion, DC expressed his sympathy to the families of the deceased and assured them full support from the district administration whenever needed.
The families of the deceased have expressed gratitude to J&K government for providing immediate ex-gratia relief. The DC during the visit was accompanied by ADC Sopore.
