Jammu: A full dress rehearsal for 75th Independence Day was held in M.A Stadium where ADC (L&O) Ghanshyam Singh inspected the parade, hoisted the national flag and took the salute at the march past consisting of contingents of District Police, CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police, NCC, Forest Protection Force and students drawn from different schools.
Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg, ADC Satish Sharma Joint Director Information Namrita Dogra, Joint Director Hospitality and Protocol Ansuya Jamwal, ACG Rakesh Dubey beside heads of various departments and senior officers were also present on the occasion.
A scintillating cultural bonanza featuring patriotic songs, Folk Dance and Music and skits carrying messages on the social issues was also presented by the school Children.
Students from different government schools of Jammu city and its peripheries participated in the rehearsal for cultural show to be presented at the divisional level function of Independence Day to be held at M.A Stadium.
