3 students of BGSB University’s IT Deptt Selected as Asstt Professors (IT) in Hr Edu Deptt, VC felicitates them

Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulan Shah Badshah University Rajouri has felicitated all the three pass outs of the Information Technology Department for their selections as Assistant Professors in J&K High Education Department.
The Department of Information Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri established in the year 2006 has always scored big when it comes to placement of students in Jammu & Kashmir. Recently, the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission notified the list of candidates selected for the post of Assistant Professor in Information Technology, Higher Education Department, Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir. This time also, three students of the Department, namely Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Dar, Nisar Ahmed Malik and Ameeq Rehman Choudhary, made to the final selection list.
The Department is currently offering 2-years M.Sc. in Information Technology and Ph.D. in Information Technology. It is the only department in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir which offers Ph.D. in Information Technology. The alumni, students and scholars, of the Department of Information Technology are spread across the country and have played instrumental role in spreading good things about the University in general and the Department in particular.
Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri congratulated the selected students and the faculty members of the Department headed by Dr. Tasleem Arif. On this occasion he impressed upon the Department to continue it’s good work and strive hard for the betterment of its students’ community. He wished the selected students great future and asked them to work with zeal and vigor in their concerned domain.
