DIC Shopian continues awareness prog on CAB

Shopian: The District Information Centre (DIC) Shopian under the supervision of District Information Officer (DIO) Showkat Ahmad Khan Wednesday organised an awareness campaign on COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) at Gole, Main market, Batapora and other adjoining areas.
During the awareness programme, the Information Department strictly appealed to the public through loud speaker fitted on the special vehicle to follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour to shield themselves from the viral infection.
The people were urged to wear masks while going out of their homes, maintain physical distance and avoid visiting crowded places. Those who had even mild symptoms should undergo COVID-19 test as the District Administration has put in place arrangements to conduct a minimum of required tests a day to ensure early intervention.
The announcements also appealed to the public to get themselves vaccinated for COVID19 as vaccination is the panacea and an ultimate solution to remain safe from the Coronavirus infection.
