Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: BGSBU organizes Badminton tournament

Rajouri: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University organized Badminton tournament of faculty members in the University campus to celebrate 75thIndependence Day celebration “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” – Fit India Freedom Run 2.0. The tournament was organized by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports. The opening Match was played between Prof. Akbar Masood Vice Chancellor, BGSBU V/S Asif Husain Dean SoET. Prof. Akbar Masood won the match with 2-0. The second match was played between Dr. Pervaz Alam Assistant Professor Civil Engg. V/S Zeshan Aslam Assistant Professor Civil Engg. The match was won by Dr. Pervaz Alam with 2-1. Third match was played between Dr. Sanjay Jamal, Assistant Professor Computer Science Department and Jatinder Kumar Assistant Professor Management Studies in senior category. On this occasion Prof.Akbar Masood applauded the role of participants and organizers on Independence Day celebration “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”-Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 and said that such activities should continue fort the holistic development of the Institution. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the participants for taking part in the tournament and hoped that the young generation will work with zeal and enthusiasm towards building a strong nation. Those who were present on the occasion Professor Iqbal Pervaz Dean Academic Affairs, Professor G.M. Malik Dean Students, Professor Asif Hussain Dean SoET , Mohammed Rashid Chowdhary OSD, Sh.
