Arrangements for upcoming JNV Selection Test reviewed at B’pora

Bandipora:: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir Tuesday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review arrangements put in place for conduct of JNV Entrance examinations scheduled for 11th of August, 2021.
The meeting finalized arrangements for smooth and transparent conduct of the Selection Test by JNV in the district. Threadbare discussions were held with regard to the smooth conduct of examination and the strict adherence to COVD-19 SOPs at all levels.
Meeting was informed that the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST), 2021 shall be conducted on 11th of August, 2021 in a single phase across the country by following all precautions/COVID protocols. The Test shall begin at 11:30 AM while reporting time for students has been fixed at 10AM.
Officers informed that the examination shall be held in BHSS, Kaloosa, Bandipora, Govt. GHSS, Bandipora, Govt. High School, Bagh Bandipora, Govt. BHSS Hajin, Army Goodwill School, Hajin, Govt. BHSS Sumbal, Greenland Public School Sumbal and New Era Educational Institute Sumbal.
It was given out that Bandipora Police shall ensure proper and adequate security arrangements at designated Examination Centers and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, shall be the Nodal Officer, for the smooth conduct of the Examination (JNVST-2021).
Additional District Magistrate, Bandipora shall ensure deployment of Duty Magistrates at the designated Examination Centers while Chief Education Officer, Bandipora, shall ensure deployment of Supervisory Staff in all of the Examination Centers and shall also ensure proper seating arrangements in the Examination Centers as per COVID-19 protocols (Social Distancing, etc.)
Chief Medical Officer Bandipora and all concerned Block Medical Officers, were asked to ensure all relevant COVID-19 protocols in the Examination Centers viz. deployment of staff for temperature monitoring of all candidates before entry in the Examination Hall, Sampling, etc, and to ensure that only candidates with Negative COVID Test Report of preceding 48 hours are allowed.
