LG’s Advisors Baseer, Farooq Khan condemn killing of Kulgam Sarpanch, his wife

Srinagar: Advisors to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Ahmad Khan and Baseer Ahmad Khan have in their separate statements condemned in strongest words the killing of Kulgam Sarpanch, Ghulam Rasool Dar and his wife Jawahira at Anantnag.
In a statement issued on Monday the Lt Governor’s Advisor Farooq Ahmad Khan said that such coward acts would not deter the nationalist people to work for the unity and integrity of the nation. He expressed that such acts should be unequivocally despised by one and all so that these inimical forces gets the message loud and clear.He also asked the police and other investigating agencies to take the probe to its logical conclusion quickly so that the culprits are brought to book soon.The Advisor also shared his sympathies with the bereaved family and said that the blood of their family members would not go waste. He said that their sacrifice would be remembered by all the patriotic people for all the times to come.
Condemning the killings in a similar statement, anotherAdvisor to Lt Governor Baseer Ahmad Khan urged the police to nab the perpetrators of this heinous crime. He said this is a barbaric attack against the humanity and demanded stern punishment to the killers. The Advisor also shared his sympathies with the bereaved family saying that the couple sacrificed his lives for the democratic process in Kashmir. He further said that their sacrifices would not go waste and will be remembered by all.
