Hakeem for adequate arrangements for Muharam processions in Khansahib & Budgam, strict adherence of health advisories against covid

Srinagar:- Chariman People’s Democratic Front ( PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has urged the government to make foolproof arrangemets in all shia dominated areas of Khansahib and Budgam, for the smooth observance of holly Muhharam.
In a statement issued on Monday , Hakeem has urged the administration to make all the required arrangements to facilitate the people especially devotees of Hazrat Imam Hussain ( AS) to observe religious event Muhharam with full religious fervour and sanctity. He urged for ensuring availability of uninterrupted water and power supply in and around various Imambaras and shia dominated areas adding that all the roads, lanes and inner links leading to various Imambaras should be repaired and black topped earnestly .He has urged the administration to press into service additional water tankers especially in Shia dominated area so that devotees do not face any inconvenience . He demanded additional quote of ration,sugar and kerosene oil to the consumers adding that essential commodities and cooking LPG should be kept readily available in the market. He has also urged for intensifying market checking to keep prices of essential commodities under check.
He also urged for making proper LED lighting arrangements in and around various Imambaras. He has asked engineers of various departments to conduct a thorough visit to about 15 Shia dominated villages of Khansahib constituency to make necessary arrangements on the eve of Muharam-ul-Haram. Hakeem also urged for making adequate medical facilities in all the Shia dominated areas of Bugam and Khansahib including First Aid camps and additional Ambulance services. PDF Chairman also appealed to the people to strictly adher to Standard of Operation ( SOPs) and health advisories issued by the WHO and health department against the spread of Coronavirus , while observing the religion occasion of Muhharam. He said social distancing should be maintained and face masks used without any lapse to ensure protection from the dreaded Coronavirus.
