Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav: COVID awareness rally held at Langate, Kupwara

Kupwara: Continuing its efforts for disseminating awareness regarding implementation of COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) in Kupwara district, an awareness rally was taken off from Boys Higher Secondary School (HSS) Langate Monday.
The rally which was attended by school children from GHSS and BHSS Langate, besides Angan Wadi Workers of ICDS and health workers, went through various markets of Langate and culminated at Girls HSS Langate.
The students were seen holding placards and banners in their hands displaying a message that people should not show any negligence with regard to compliance of Covid Appropriate Behaviour. The message was that people should not lower the guard against COVID-19 pandemic, and should follow COVID-19 SOPs in letter and spirit.
The rally, organized in coordination with District Information Centre (DIC), Kupwara was flagged off by Tehsildar Langate Abrar Innayat in presence of Principal BHSS /GHSS Langate, Nodal Officer COVID SDH Langate, Zonal N O Farooq Ahmad Wani while as the programme was coordinated by the Nodal Officer G M Dar.
The rally was conducted as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav and was escorted by Police, PETs and school teachers up to GHSS Langate.
