Srinagar/Aug, 7 : One militant was killed and another one arrested on Saturday during a gunfight in Mochwa area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Kashmir Zone Police confirmed the killing of one militant and arrest of another one in two successive tweets. Confirming the one militant the Kashmir Zone police on it’s twitter handle said “one unidentified #militant killed. One AK 47 rifle & one pistol recovered. #Search going on. Further details shall follow”.In it’s another tweet Kashmir Zone police quoted IGP Kashmir as saying “# Budgam Encounter Update : 2nd #militant who escaped from #encounter site, after following a lead, has been # arrestedin Khrew. A pistol & a grenade has been recovered from his possession. Truck driver also arrested”
