Jammu/ Aug,7 : JKAP 7th Battalion on Saturday organized a plantation drive at Battalion Hqrs. APC, Channi Himmat Jammu in collaboration with Hero Company Channel Partners for sufficient supply of fresh air to the environment to combat the air pollution which is highly increasing during these days due to air pollution caused by traffic/factories etc. which shall continue in near future also.
According to an official statement issued on Saturday the drive was organized to benefit the ecological system. The solders and officers were briefed to make them aware about the plantation of trees and their benefits for humanity. “Directions from higher pps are being received from time to time regarding these events”, reads the statement, adding that “during said drive Suneel Raj, Commandant JKAP 7th Battalion was accompanied by Girdhari Lal, (Quarter Master), and officers/ officials of this Unit”.
