Srinagar/Aug,5 : Former Union Minister Prof Saif Ud Din Soz on Thursday said that Modi Government is wrong in celebrating Art 370  abrogation, stating therein that people of Jammu & Kashmir are in struggle for it’s restoration.

In a statement issued here on Thursday Prof Soz said “It is totally wrong for the Modi Govt. to celebrate the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India”, adding that “I am sure a day will come, when people like Modi will realize that it is the peoples’ will that will prevail, ultimately”.

Stating that people of J&K  cannot compromise with their Principle that Article 370 represented their aspirations, Soz said ” people will, therefore, continue to struggle for restoration of Article 370 of the Constitution of India”.

He further said “I have a feeling that the Modi Govt. will realize someday that the ‘Peoples’ Court’ is the last court, as for political life is concerned”, adding that ” the predominant feeling in Jammu and Kashmir is and will be that the people would continue their struggle for restoration of Article 370 of the Constitution of India as it is this Article which is basic to J&K State’s Constitutional relationship with the Union of India”.

In the concluding para of his above referred state Soz said “the people of the J&K State also think that what matters in the political life of the people is the peoples’ struggle for achieving a goal.”
