Ganderbal: For ensuring the punctuality of employees and improvement in the work culture at all levels, Director, Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal along with Deputy Director Planning M. Younis Chowdhary conducted a surprise visit to Ganderbal District wednesday and found many Employees of Sub Division Kangan un- authorized absent from their legitimate duties. Director on spot issued orders for suspension of 12 employees with immediate effect and chargesheets many others.
Director while taking a strong note on absenteeism culture, directed all officers and officials working in the department to strictly adhere to the office timings. He instructed Chief Agriculture Officers and Controlling Officers to improve work culture and asked them to increase their visits to their Subordinate offices to eradicate this menace.
Director also asked the CAOs to appreciate the outstanding employees working in the field. He appreciated the role of Agriculture Extension Officer Hariganwan Kangan for reaching out to the farmers while implementing different schemes and programs launched by the department.
During the visit to FTEC office Ganderbal on spot Directions were Passed by the Director regarding organizing training camps in all the zones of Ganderbal district and the compliance of the same be ensured.
SDAO Ganderbal was instructed to have a detailed tour of his Sub Division with the instruction to activate his field staff for adoption of new farming technology.
