DG Hospitality & Protocol launches Cleanliness drive at Jammu Circuit House

JammuA special cleanliness drive “Cleanliness Counts Everywhere” under the aegis of ‘Swachata Pakhwada’ was launched wednesday by Director General Hospitality & Protocol Hashmat Ali Khan with the objective to promote practices of Swachata in the valuable assets of the department.
The day one of the campus cleanliness drive began from the Circuit House, Canal Road in which all the staff of Hospitality Protocol Jammu participated.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director General, Hospitality & Protocol, J&K motivated the staff to set highest standards of cleanliness as the core objective of the department is service delivery while dealing with a number of guests viz official, non official from within Jammu & Kashmir and all across the nation. He further explained that the event is part of 75th Independence Day Celebrations and the motive behind these activities under Swachata Pakhwada is to ensure that all the staff realise their duty towards keeping their workplaces as well as their surroundings clean. He further urged the employees to pay attention to minute details as they form the bigger picture.
The event was organised by Joint Director Hospitality & Protocol Jammu Ansuya Jamwal, who informed that a detailed calendar has been charted out for carrying out the Swachhta Pakhwada in all the houses and assets of Hospitality & Protocol viz Circuit House, State Guest Houses, Tara Niwas Udhampur, Director Generals Office, Joint Director Office and stores of H&P etc as per the government directions. The events will witness the participation of all the officials and imbibe in them the spirit of cleanliness and bring qualitative Swachata improvement especially during these challenging times of Covid-19. She impressed upon staff to take the leanings from the event and make certain that the practices are replicated throughout the year.
Others who participated in the drive included Deputy Director Stores Ashima Sher, Assistant Director, Amir Choudhary, Assistant Director (Central) Muneeb Umar, Accounts Officer, Dr Anand Thakur Sen, Assistant House Keeping Bua Ditta Sharma, Manager Circuit House Puneet Kour and all the officials of Hospitality & Protocol. The drive ended with commitment to follow and carry out with same zeal and enthusiasm in all the premises for the whole year.
