Kupwara: The District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC), which met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Imam Din Monday settled 6 cases. A total of 19 cases of different categories were put forth for discussion; of which 6 cases were settled on spot.
Out of these 6 settled cases, 3 are death cases , one injury case, one compensation case under SRO 43 and one property case. 6 cases were rejected while 7 cases were deferred for re-verification from concerned agencies.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the disposal of pending cases in their offices so that quick settlement could be held in the next meeting of the District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Officers of Police, Army, BSF,CRPF and other concerned attended the meeting.
