Srinagar: The BJP on Friday said that the central government has ended dynastic rule in J&K and stated that the party’s ground work in Kashmir valley will gain more seats in upcoming Assembly elections
Addressing a party meeting in Srinagar, BJP national general secretary (organisation) B L Santosh alleged that regional parties had exploited the people over the past 70 years. He urged party workers to work for progress and development in the region. “Now people are aware of their rights and they will say no to dynastic politics in upcoming elections,” he said.
The senior leader said party workers have worked hard on the ground, and it will help them in upcoming assembly elections. “Even they have sacrificed their lives for the noble cause and their sacrifices will not go in vain,” Mr Santosh said.
Mr Santosh said BJP will win seats in Kashmir and the party workers are working hard on the ground. “Keeping in line with Modi’s mission of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, the region has been witnessing unprecedented development in every sector. Now Jammu and Kashmir is moving to a model region,” he said.
Hitting out at Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), he said the Gupkar declaration is nothing but a tool to gain power and exploit the common masses. “I urged workers to take lead in an awareness programme on vaccination in far-flung areas of the region,” he said, adding that during COVID-19 BJP leadership worked hard to reach out to the needy people.
