Jammu: Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal and Dean, Government Medical College Jammu Saturday visited Maternal Childcare Health Hospital (MCH), Gandhi Nagar to inspect the ongoing works.
The PMC directed XEn electrical for completion of the AC plant at 3rd and 4th floor before 31st July which may be required in view of possible 3rd wave of Corona wave.
It was apprised to PMC that the OT & Labour room complex wall tiling is under progress. The floor tiling in NICU & PICU is already approved under languishing project funding. She directed XEn Civil PWD to make DPR for Granite flooring and complete all pending works at the earliest.
The Principal asked the Medical Superintendent to write to the XEN mechanical cooling division for taking papers of plant AMC / CMC and ensuring the smooth functioning of AC plant 24X7.
Dr. Sudhan also visited the control room established in the hospital and appreciated the efforts of the administration. She asked to install audio visual system and facility for virtual rounds in the COVID Hospital.
She also appreciated Hospital administration for the installation of CITIZEN CHARTER and national flag at the entry of the hospital and complaint/suggestion boxes at various places.
The Principal and Dean asked the Medical Superintendent, Dr. Arun Sharma to put in extra efforts to make the hospital a centre of excellence.
