Bandipora Climbers lifts Cricket Cricket trophy

Hajin: The grand finale of the Kashmir Premier League Cricket tournament was played on Saturday at Sports Ground Hajin between Bandipora Climbers and Ganderbal Saviours  .

Bandipora Climbers defeated Ganderbal Saviours  by 4 runs in a nail-biting finish .

After winning the toss, Bandipora Climbers decided to bat first and they put up a decent total of 174 in 20 overs. From the Bandipora Climbers  Parvaiz Ahmad scored 75 runs and he was equally supported by Mudasir who scored 45 runs .

Nasir Ahmad was the pick of the bowler and took three important wickets, Nisar Ahmad took 2 wickets, for Ganderbal Saviours.

While chasing the target of 174 runs Ganderbal Saviours fell four runs short from the required target and were bundled out on 170 runs. Manzoor Ahmad with 64 runs was the top scorer for his team.Fast bowler Khursheed Ahmad was the pick of the bowler and took three wickets for Bandipora Climbers.

Parvaiz Ahmad of Bandipora Climbers was later declared Man of the match for his brilliant innings. He scored 75 runs.

The winners were awarded trophies and Cricket kits and 10,000 Cash, While runners up Ganderbal Saviours were also awarded with trophies and 5000 cash.
