Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Thursday visited several areas of Drugmulla and Hayhama blocks of the district and inspected various ongoing developmental works.
During the visit, the DC inspected various works of the Rural Development department coming up at around Rs.16 lakh. The works inspected include construction of Tile path and Protection wall in Drugmulla-C and construction of Bathrooms in Armpora.
It was informed that the works have been executed under MPLADS and MGNREGA convergence plan.
The DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure strict compliance of quality standards in execution of works. He directed them for timely completion of works so that people are benefited in general.
Later, the DC also visited Hayhama block and inspected several developmental works.
Tehsildar Drugmulla, BDO, engineers and other concerned accompanied the DC during the visit.
