Kulgam:: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Tuesday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress registered under languishing projects in the district.
During the meeting, the DDC sought sector wise details from the concerned officers regarding the issues hampering the timely completion of vital projects in the district.
It was informed that 94 work projects have been taken up by different executing agencies with an approved cost of 169.82 crores under JKIDFC.
Out of 94 work projects 33 work projects stands completed and 50 work projects will be completed before November this year.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to expedite the pace of work to complete all ongoing projects in a time bound manner.
The meeting was attended by, CPO, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE and Irrigation deptt, EO Municipality Kulgam and other concerned district officers.
