DC Jammu reviews disposal of public grievances, installation of oxygen plants

Jammu: Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg Tuesday reviewed the status of disposal of grievances on JKIGRAMS and installation of Oxygen Plants in the city hospitals here in two separate meetings.
ADC Adm, Satish Kumar; ACR, Vijay Kumar Sharma, besides other senior officers of the line departments were present in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner took department wise review of the grievances disposed of and those pending.
The concerned officer apprised the Deputy Commissioner that there are around 550 grievances pending in different departments.
He asked the officers to redress the grievances within 15 days from the time of the up-dation. He also emphasized upon daily disposal of the grievances in order to reduce pendency.
The Deputy Commissioner also instructed the officers to gear up their men and machinery and work in synergy with other departments in order to ensure the redress of grievances in a time bound manner.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner chaired a meeting with the Medical Superintendents of the district Hospitals to get first hand information regarding the installation of oxygen generating plants.
The Medical Superintendents apprised the Chair regarding the status of upcoming plants in their respective hospitals and issues being faced by them.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officials to get the installation completed in stipulated time frame so that patients do not face any kind of inconvenience in the supply of oxygen.
