Srinagar : The Srinagar Municipal Corporation on Thursday sealed one illegal structure at Badshah Nagar Natipora.
In a statement issued on Thursday a spokesperson of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation said that sealing took place in presence of Enfircement Officer who along with the entire field staff sealed the structure.
“SMC will act tought against all the violators who will not apply for proper building permissions and resort to illegal constructions”, said the spokesperson, adding that “no illegal construction or any structure coming up beyond the sanctioned building plan will be allowed and will face demolition at any stage after getting into the notice of Authorities”.
The SMC spokesperson also said that all the ward Officers, Enforcement Officers including field staff have been strictly directed by Commissioner SMC Mr Athar Aamir Khan to swing into action at an appropriate time/ early stage and keep a tight vigil in ongoing constructions in the city to check the status of their permissions while doing any sort of commercial or residential construction.
